“A healer’s power stems not from any special ability, but from maintaining the courage and
awareness to embody and express the universal healing power that every human being
naturally possesses.” ― Eric Michael Leventhal
Imagine if you understood the subtle laws of the universe and energy – the subtle laws of life itself. Many great minds and souls have searched for these mysterious laws in their quest for the truth about who we really are, what we are truly made of and our place in the universe. Pranic Healing is a system of energy healing that enables us to understand and tap into these laws, and into the very fabric of our existence – Universal Life Force Energy.
More than just a form of therapy, Pranic Healing is a practice of wholesome living using the knowledge of subtle energies. Through training in Pranic Healing, you will learn how humans can harness these energies for healing, manifestation, and spiritual growth.
Pranic Healing is often called the “Science of Healing” as it uses validated and tested methods as well as protocols to ensure a rapid and safe recovery. Pranic healing has two simple principles, one is that the physical body can heal itself, and the other is that adding a catalyst can accelerate the healing process. That catalyst is Prana, a Pranic healer uses their hands to cleanse and energize a person’s energy field and chakras with fresh prana. This ritual triggers the healing process of the body.
Pranic Healing teaches how to heal others from a distance. Long distance healing is based on the fact that we are all connected to each other through the earth’s energy field. In addition, wherever our thoughts are directed with intention, energy follows. By practicing Pranic healing techniques combined with our focus upon a loved one, we can utilize healing from a distance.
Pranic Healing applied to emotional problems is called Pranic Psychotherapy. Again, it is the utilization of prana to cleanse and energize the emotional field from such problems as anxiety, phobia, grief, depression, addictions, anger, and other psychological problems. The result is a restoration of emotional balance and a sense of well-being.
Our beings are not just our physical bodies. There is an energy field around every one of us that keeps us healthy and alive, in the same way, that a cellphone is dependent on its battery for life.
When this luminous energy field is contaminated and damaged, it causes sickness and pain. Anything that disturbs us – from bad weather and stress, fear and frustrations – these disturbances affect the energy field, making it dimmer, imbalanced, and dirty. In the long run, this contamination manifests as discomfort, physical, and psychological problems.
To remain healthy and happy, we need to take good care of our energetic body and its energy centers, commonly known as the chakras. That’s where energy healing comes in to help you retain a healthy energetic body.
Pranic Healing provides thorough explanations of the aura, chakras, and their functions, in addition to techniques for cleansing, energizing and rebalancing them to improve physical and psychological conditions. Using Prana to balance, harmonize and transform the body’s energy improves health by accelerating the rate of self-healing in the physical human body. The Prana or Life Force used to balance bodily functions has many different names in different cultures and regions. In India it is called Prana, in China, it is called Chi, in Japan, it is Ki., in Pneuma and Polynesia, it is called Mana.
“Before you heal someone, ask him if he’s willing to give up the things that make him sick.”
― Hippocrates
All of us have the innate ability to heal and relieve pain. Without being aware of it, we often use this healing process or receive its benefits. Nearly everyone can recall times when mom kissed a hand that was hurt and made it feel better, or someone put an arm around us to comfort us when we felt sad. These types of experiences are an example of Pranic transference – the channeling of Prana or life force from one to another. The gift of energy causes the recipient to feel better. The Pranic Healing approach is simple and practical, anybody can learn and apply the method immediately.
The body is a living battery, that requires constant recharging. This is done through different means, especially through the transference of life energy. This is the principle behind Pranic Healing.”
-Grand Master Choa Kok Sui
Mantra is a sacred utterance of a word, sound or short phrase which has psychological and spiritual influence. Principles of sound and the ability to use sound were known to ancient people. The mantra may be used in any life situation and even during our daily routine to relax and calm the mind. It will bring clarity and the ability to think positively.
Continuously repeated either aloud or silently, a Mantra penetrates the depths of the unconscious mind and helps in attaining spiritual connection and also assists the body in healing itself. The vibrations of the mantra chanting repeatedly stimulate the energy chakras. Desired health benefits can be achieved if we chant a particular mantra by focusing attention on the specific part of the body which is to be healed. We can say that Mantra is the living force of God and very useful for healing besides spiritual growth. Mantra protects us in every life situation, it fills us with a positive vibration whenever we think of the Mantra or speak it. In this way, it purifies our inner Self.
“Be sure to make everyone happy through your words. Allow peace and harmony to vibrate through you and radiate from you.
-Sri Mahaprabhuji
Mantras are the easiest tools used for healing as they need very small effort. By chanting mantras with feelings, you are simply activating the energies already lying dormant within you. Mantras not only provide spiritual benefits but also help in psycho-physiological healing. The sound vibrations and frequencies of mantras have shown enormous healing advantages as every mantra produces a unique sound and vibration. When recited, the sound stimulates various parts of the body and gives relaxation and natural healing. Sound frequencies of every mantra can miraculously heal one’s life. The pure sounds can liberate us from fear, awaken our intuition, and even repair our DNA. We can open and balance all the seven energy chakras by chanting different mantras which make the body fit and healthy. Everyone has hidden, amazing spiritual and healing powers but those who can balance energy chakras with the help of mantras can tap into all these potentials.
If you would like to find enlightenment outside and inside, then place on the threshold of your tongue the lustrous pearl of the Divine Name (Mantra).
– Sri Goswami Tulsidas
“To practice tantra requires even greater compassion and greater intelligence than are required on the sutra path; thus, though many persons in the degenerate era are interested in tantra, tantra is not for degenerate persons. Tantra is limited to persons whose compassion is so great that they cannot bear to spend unnecessary time in attaining Buddhahood, as they want to be a supreme source of help and happiness for others quickly.”
― Dalai Lama XIV, Meditation on Emptiness
Tantric Healing is a healing tradition based on Tantra, the holistic science of energy and consciousness. The unique perspective of tantric healing, however, comes through the link with Yogic Science and Tantra Yoga.
Tantra is not well understood in the western world but is a key to healthy living and awareness that can transform you into the person you were meant to be. Tantric practices generating sexual energy and purifying the energetic body.
Tantra is most commonly associated with the combination of spiritual and sexual techniques; it is also a type of energy healing that directs the universal energies into the practitioner. From the word “tan” “to spread, expend;” – tantra is related to the idea of connectedness. This connectedness is a common theme in writings on Tantra. What matters in the end, however, is the restoration and maintenance of health.
Tantric Healing includes Ayurvedic remedies, as well as general guidelines for a more healthy, Yogic Lifestyle. The Tantric Healer, however, adds another dimension to it: the spiritual world. Through Mantra, Yantra, and Rituals (Puja), the karmic impressions of the patient are affected, to produce or promote effective healing. Today, this same technique can be used to heal anxiety, depression, immune system disorders, inner unrest, and environmental degradation that are the hallmark of our age.
Tantric healing rests on the knowledge that the world and everything it contains is supported and nourished by the beneficent and all-encompassing matrix of Kundalini Shakti. Following in the footsteps of the tantric masters, we can invest our Prana Shakti, the awakened aspect of Kundalini Shakti within us to infuse ourselves, our communities, and the natural world with vitality, enlightenment, and vibrant health.
“I am of the opinion that a tantric lifestyle can not only build successful individuals, but it has the potential to shape successful yet harmonious communities and even business enterprises.”
― Vishwas Chavan, Vishwasutras: Universal Principles for Living
